Today I went to visit Miriam and her new baby, Gloria Mumo (which means Grace). She weighed 3.5 kilos and is a bonny baby with a head full of hair. Strangely enough her hands were white, but they assured me that this was normal with African babies?! and that the pigment would kick-in within a week... she is a poppet, but she didn't open her eyes from beginning to end of our visit. Congratulations to Miriam and Geoffrey on your beautiful little bundle of joy.
